I am the Computer Science teacher at Red Bank Middle for grades 6-8. I have been teaching over 27 years. I have taught all grades and subjects pre-K through 8th,  with the last 20 years being in middle school in Hamilton County.

I am married to Soso Elbakidze from Tbilisi, GEO.  We have three children together. My oldest is 20 and is a rising senior at Salem College, Winston-Salem, NC. She served as an intern at the Forsyth County Public Defender's Office in Winston-Salem, NC this summer.  My second  is a rising sophomore at Parson's School of Design in New York, New York. As a freshman, he interned with graphite artist Diana Shpungin and won the Parson's 2019 Senate Gala. My youngest is a rising 10th grader and a member of a Future Ready Institute in Hamilton County. Although my children are products of the Hamilton County school system, I am not. I graduated from Colquitt County High School in Moultrie, Georgia after attending schools in Georgia, Puerto Rico, and Tennessee (Madisonville and Decatur). I have attended various universities throughout the years including Valdosta State University, Middle Tennessee State University, Oglethorpe University, and Harvard University. I am proud to continue the family tradition of educating the youth of East Tennessee as my grandmother, mother, and aunts have done throughout the years.
