Title 1

RBMS is a Title I school. This means we meet criteria to receive federal assistance to ensure all students get a good education and meet academic standards. As a Title I school we must review and modify (as needed) the Title I Family Engagement Policy for RBMS. Paper copies are available at the school or you may view the information below.

RBMS Title I Family Engagement Policy

As a Title I school we also provide a School-Parent Compact that we encourage parents and students to sign, along with the administration and your child’s teacher. This compact describes what the administration, the teacher, the parent and the student pledge to do to ensure the student will be successful. If you, as the parent/guardian, have not completed a compact we strongly encourage you to do so. You may print off a copy and send it to school or stop by the school and sign one.

RBMS Title I School-Parent Compact

We have two pamphlets that help to explain Title I: Parents’ Rights in Education: A guide to the No Child Left Behind Act and About School-Parent Compacts. You may pick up a copy of each in the school office or request a copy be sent home to you.
